Irregular periods: Not everyone has a regular period but if you are sexually active and missed a period check HCG. Birth control pills can help regulate periods but may cause intermittent spotting and if irregularity is the only issue and you have monthly periods , you have to weigh the benefits versus use of exogenous pills.
