What do lymph nodes feel like? can they ever just feel like fluid with no margins?

No: Lymph nodes are like little beans. The feel like beans of various sizes but similar shapes. Areas of multiple enlarged beans can mean a problem. If the beans grow together in a mass and start to stick together or onto something else, that can mean a big problem. Individual, movable beans less than a nickel in diameter are usually ok in kids, teens, and young adults... but may need an exam by a Dr.
