Urinary retention: Problem can be associated with obstruction (more common in men with prostate), enlargement or weakness of bladder especially the muscle that causes the bladder to constrict, finally problems to the nerves that go to the bladder can cause the "signal to empty bladder" to be poor. Diabetes can be associated with this or back problems.
