A member asked:

I have finished the course of dostinex to stop breastfeeding however i'm still full and have alot of lumps, starting a fever and aching body pains. when should my breast empty out?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

When it does: This prolactin inhibitor is rarely used any more in the US but some find it helpful for weaning. Most just bind the breasts with stretchy wraps & stop. Some find it helpful to express enough milk to soften the engorgement but no more. The process time varies with each case.
