Im having this burning sensation on my stomach, on the upper side of my stomach to be specific. i also feel pains on my trachea which comes and goes. what could be the cause of this and what can help me? its been two weeks now feeling like this.

GERD: You may have GERD and an antacid and proton pump inhibitor found over the counter may provide relief. Avoid spicy foods, caffeine and eating two hours prior to bedtime. If the pain persists an imaging test called a Barium swallow may be indicated. Please discuss with your physician.
