Low dose oral bcp's do contain estrogen, but the amount is far lower than that produced by your ovaries if not on ovarian suppression with bcp's. The higher estrogen in PCOS will be more of a risk than the low dose bcp therapy, which will predispose you to less risk and fewer "skin problems" as well as preserving your fertility.
