Left chest pain: May be costochondritis ( there would be pain on palpation of ribs- treat with Motrin/NSAIDS) , / pleuritis viral infection of lung lining(tx with NSAIDS0 , or reflux( try ranitidine if not allergic) or rarely pericarditis ( inflammation of heart lining- needs f/u/) or very rarely clot( needs f/u/). Would f/u/ w/ doc urgent care.
