See physician: Usual causes of pain are trauma, musculosketal bruise , fx, or muscular strain.Inflammation in anterior cartilage so called costochondritis( (viral or traumatic) can cause pain which reproduce by pushing on the involved cartilage in the front of the rib cage.Left chest pain historically associated with heart and gastrointestinal reflux.If continues see physician for examination and workup.
