Stop or Gradual Stop: Return visit to one's psychiatrist can help, especially if the doctor knows of successful behavioral interventions, medications, etc... to help stop all such activities at once. For patients with good planning skills and willpower, they can cut out a portion of such activities (such as 1/3 or 1/2) every couple of weeks or so, and gradually get to zero activities. Psychiatrist is the path to take.
