Side effects: Gravol is a trade name used for the non-prescription drug dimenhydrinate. Dimenhydrinate is used for prevention & treatment of nausea and vomiting. Gravol Ginger Nighttime is suggested for sleep. There can be short term side effects such as feelings nervousness or excitement. Chronic heavy use can cause side effects such as depression & confusion.

Overdoses can lead to such things as confusion & irrational behaviour. Withdrawal symptoms such as excitability & weakness can occur. I therefore encourage less dependence on gravol and more of a focus in natural remedies for sleep. Eat well, avoid alcohol & illicit drugs, & consume less caffeine. Get at least 20-30 minutes of aerobic exercise daily. Chamomile tea & meditation may also help.
