Hi....am suffering from athlete feet and i had it for the past 5 years and it is not going away i tried couple of creams, powders and home remedies, even change socks every day but it is not going away. i need help?

See doctor: Conditions other than tinea pedis (athlete's foot) can cause similar symptoms; and some tinea is resistant to the standard treatments. Get professional confirmation of the diagnosis and treatment advice, ideally from a dermatologist. Good luck!

I'm wearing a splint for my ankle since ORIF 5 days ago. I wear a fluffy sock over my toes that are exposed. A couple days ago, I noticed my toes are dry, itchy and cracked. Reminding me of athlete's foot. Can I use antifungal cream on my open toes?

I have had athletes foot for months now. I have used the creams and even did 6 weeks of the lamisil tablets. All they do is keep it centralised to a specific area. This has not spread to my other foot as such. Any advise for further treatment?
