A member asked:

I was diagnosed with avm that was later surgically removed. i then suffered from epilepsy and taking aed. now will i have a normal sperm if i want a child?

Hard to guess: Almost nobody knows what their sperm quality was before an illness. Also, it is very hard to grasp what "sperm quality" or "normal sperm" means because we only need one good sperm (plus egg) to create each child. So, if a guy has less sperm or slower sperm, does it matter? If we assume the sperm are genetically normal, maybe get tested if no baby after 9 months of sex with a presumed fertile wife.
