Many things possible: The answer to, "Is it possible," is almost always YES, even if it won't happen in my lifetime or your lifetime. Many things are possible in this world. The better question asks how likely it is for one person to transmit herpes to another person merely by sharing a container of Vaseline. In real life, it doesn't happen. That said, people should use SAFE handling of shareable creams and ointments.
