Which infection...: Depends on which infection is present. There are many different causes of big lymph nodes. Only some of the causes are due to infections, and then only some of the infections are treatable. Many viral infections have no antiviral treatment. Thus, if there is a treatable infection such as a bacterial, chlamydial, tuberculous, or other cause, then "antibiotics" are used as treatment. Detail matter.
