Yes: Generally though opioids are not your best bet for the chronic pain associated with fibromyalgia. I would try naltrexone and a host of other modalities safer and more likely to help, particularly over the long run. Over time opioids can make pain worse. The one glaring exception is if you have ever met criteria for an opioid use disorder. Then I would consider buprenorphine.
