Ovary: Causes for ovarian pain include cyst (simple and complex), torsion or twisting, or infection. A uterine fibroid can cause pain that mimmics ovary pain. Other possibilities include diverticulitis, kidney stone disease or colitis. Sometime even a back problem can refer pain to the area.
