Confusing post: No clear question came through in your post. If the kid wets, even a little every 6 hrs he is not considered dry. Sometimes the newer diaper products absorb so well it is hard to estimate. In hospitalized infants we weigh diapers to see how much they pee. A square of toilet tissue placed in that area can act as a test to record when they pee.
