I've had debilitating muscle spasms for the first time all week .doctors first prescribed a common muscle relaxer flexeril and 800mg motrin which have not helped . then prescribed valium which has not helped. what else will work ? thanks

What else will work: There's a principle in medicine that in order to treat something, you have to know what you're treating. In other words, you need a diagnosis. Your docs assumed one of the common diagnoses & Rx'd accordingly. That hasn't worked. In order to know what WILL work, you need a more aggressive approach in order to arrive at a specific diagnosis. THEN you'll get something that may actually work.
