Cellulitis: You don't say how long you have been on treatment. For many infections, including cellulitis, symptoms may worsen for a day or two after starting treatment. But if it's been a few days and the redness, pain, swelling, fever, or other symptoms are still getting worse, contact the doctor or clinic treating you. Good luck!

Doctor can recheck: Feeling worse and worse means different things to different people. If a person has a skin wound or skin cellulitis infection but is getting more pain, more fever, more swelling, more redness, or otherwise feeling worse, she needs to be rechecked... usually at the ER or hospital, to see if she might have infection spreading rapidly (such as "flesh-eating" bacteria, or bacteria in the bloodstream).
