No. Can see doctor.: Normal, healthy 18-year-olds grow at their own genetically predetermined rate. If there are health problems, they can end up shorter than their destiny... or rarely taller than their destiny. We adapt to our heights, which helps us do the things we were meant to do, and be who we were meant to be. One's pediatrician can help with height issues if abnormally tall... that's a longer story.

Some basics: Your final height is determined by a mix of genetic & health factors. Most of either sex have stopped growing at 18 when growth centers in the bone close. An x-ray of your wrist/hand can confirm the end of growth or potential for more. There is no med to make you shorter.

Shorter: Please share your concerns about being tall w/your doctor. If all is well medically and you still feel stressed, a clinical psychologist can help you sort out your thoughts and feelings. Being neat, clean, and a good person are the best goals. Peace and good health.
