The basics: Establishing a pregnancy requires 2 fertile parents having regular intercourse off any form of BC.The average desired pregnancy takes 6 mo with a range of weeks to 1 yr. If you both try for a year with no success both need to be evaluated for fertility. A fertility center can identify treatable issues and/or educate you in ways they can help establish a pregnancy.
