Infantile stool: Every other day is completely fine and normal. Infants have many changes to their bowel regimen in the first year of life, especially when solid foods are added. To put it in perspective, I start to worry when a baby goes a week or longer without a bowel movement. That and if the infant seems to be severely constipated with pain when stool is passed.
