My 4month and 2 week old baby has an increase in temperature that comes and goes ranging between 36 and 39. she is not drinking as well as she usually does. very irritable. constantly sleepy. i've been giving her paracetamol medicine?

Some doctors have their patients come in on the first couple of sick days, but it depends on the experience of the parents and on what the child is doing. Very sleepy, very irritable, or otherwise acting strangely, especially when the temperature is high, usually means an in-person exam is needed (doctor or ER).
