Most people don't: Most people who bite their cheeks don't go to the doctor and still end up just fine. If worried, can let the doctor have a look. If there is somebody else to help with the cell phone camera in an online private consultation, can try that... a doctor can look at the bite if there is good internet video or photos. Because the site will be puffy, be careful not to bite the same site over and over.

Probably not: Most traumatic lesions in the mouth self-heal quickly. It should be totally gone in 14 days from onset. If not, see your Dentist immediately. In the meantime, an OTC topical oral pain reliever, dabbed on with a Q tip, may help. Rinsing w 1tsp salt in 8oz warm water 3x/day should help. If concerned, see your Dentist.
