Doctor can evaluate: Many things are in the upper abdomen: stomach, pancreas, liver, small intestine, gall bladder, large intestine, etc... An exam by a primary care doctor can help figure things out. Symptoms that occur after eating can be due to gallstones or other gall bladder disease. Acid reflux is a common cause of stomach symptoms, too. One can write on a calendar a diary of her symptoms and show her doctor.
