A member asked:

Thyroid overactive and why do my olanzapine stop it growing and it isnt cancerous but had nodials on it?? my t3/t4 are fine now

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nodules: Olanzipine works on the brain to treat mood disorders and won't stop thyroid modules from growing. Your thyroid is not overactive at this time according to your t3/t4. I feel thyroid nodules are best followed by an endocrinologist or thyroidologist in collaboration with a head and neck surgeon with thyroid expertise.
