A member asked:

Can i get a flu vaccine while i'm pregnant and have a cold?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

That's recommended: Doctors recommend that pregnant women get the flu shot to help prevent the seasonal flu. The shot can be given at anytime during pregnancy (any trimester is ok). Having a case of common cold does not make any difference on whether or not a person can get a dose of the seasonal flu vaccine. Very, very rarely, a patient is allergic to a flu vaccine and may have to do an alternative.
