Vaccinated, right?..: Children and young adults have been vaccinated against Hepatitis B in infancy since around 1990 (began in the 1980's). There is very little risk of catching HepB merely by touching a random menstrual pad in some random trash. Also, teens and young adults who were vaccinated don't have HepB on their menstrual pads. If worried, one can check one's own immunity with a blood test.
