Be safe: The hpv vaccine does not provide 100% immunity against hpv and all cervical cancers in females, so it is best to always practice safe sex anyway. If you are monogomous, with the same partner for years, and they are monogomous with you, the likelihood of hpv infection in general goes down. Having sex during the vaccine cycle is relatively fine as discussed.

Yes, but..: You will not be fully protected if you are exposed to the hpv virus. Full protection is conferred with the final dose of the series.
