UTI, back pain: These may be entirely separate problems: urinary tract infection doesn't usually cause low back pain. Discuss with the doctor treating you. Good luck!

I went to the dr for abdom/back pain. They said I had a UTI & prescribed Bactrim. 30 minutes after the first dose I started to feel a tingling sensation in my vaginal area. I ended up swelling down there & still burning over 6 weeks now, normal?

UTI in May. Got Cipro. In July got Bactrim. Symptoms still persisted. Cipro in September. Still painful. Uro DR said its normal. Nauseous all day.
