Some basics: Babies have relatively weak belly muscles & often use their fussing muscle (diaphragm) to help propel food along the digestive tract or to poop it out. Some are more fussy than others but this fades as they get older & stronger. Dairy can increase this for some but not all. Constipation is dry/thick poop, not just skipping days. If it is soft it is not constipation.
