See doctor: In stressful situations, clenching of the jaw is common. This clenching is done via the jaw muscles. There are three main groups of these muscles. The are on both sides of the jaw, (from in front of the ear to the bottom of the jaw), (from in front of the ear to the temple region), (from the behind the last upper molar to the bottom of the jaw ). With clenching the temple shows pain.
