PCP: There is a range of timing for dental development in children. During the next well visit at 12 months of age, discuss dentition and seeing a pediatric dentist from year one to two.

Normal: Although average age of eruption of 1st baby tooth is 6 months, normal range is 4-18 months. All babies should have 1st dental Examination at eruption of 1st baby tooth, but no later than 1st b'day, whether or not teeth have erupted. Best to see a dentofacial-facial growth and development expert, a Pediatric Dental Specialist, a Pedodontist.
