Vaginal Swelling : Do you have a fever? Where are you in your period cycle? In other words is it time for your period? Do you have any pain? Was the sexual activity painful? Do you feel ill? Check in with your physician who placed the IUD. She will probably want to see you and examine you. As you know IUD's can become infected and in rare cases can have other complications. Don't delay!
