Pain, blood in urine: The typical presentation of a kidney stone is one sided flank pain that radiates into the groin with blood in the urine. That being said, having to go frequently, pelvic pain, back pain, and vomiting are all signs and symptoms of kidney stones. You may only detect the blood microscopically or it may be obvious. Sometimes there is no blood in the urine.
