No worries: Too rare to fret over. The CDC reports that our rate for GB syndrome (GBS) in the US is about 80 to 160 cases each week (maybe from viral or bacterial infections), regardless of vaccinations. The CDC says the possible increased risk of GBS following flu vaccination is small, on the order of one to two additional GBS cases for each MILLION doses of flu vaccine administered.
