Refractory GERD: short answer ... go see GI doc or surgeon ... you might need minor surgery to tighten lower esophageal sphincter (muscle between your stomach and esophagus which is supposed to be closed relatively tight and prevent acid from going into your esophagus from your stomach) ... very complicated issues at this point ... work with your specialists
