The Emergency Room can evaluate severe stomach pain, if the primary care or regular doctor is not able to help right away. Many things are in the abdomen, such as the liver, gall bladder, stomach, spleen, pancreas, duodenum, small intestine, colon, abdominal wall muscles, appendix, kidneys, etc...
