NSAIDs: Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are OTC meds that can somewhat relieve pain and inflammation depending on the cause. But without knowing the cause it is difficult to determine what ails you. If the area that is inflamed does not resolve within two weeks, please see your dentist or physician.
