Call ur doctor: dark stool can be “melena” - black tarry reflecting often upper GI bleeding (eg stomach/duodenum) unless u take iron, certain medications, or certain blackened foods. Given ur history pancreatitis, would be concerned esp re pale stool whether gallstones involved or alcohol with any medications that make u prone to bleed like aspirin/motrin - happy to consult further but suggest calling ur MD
