For Dx-Endo.: Only way for you and your doctor to know for sure, you may need upper endoscopy to look for an ulcer .A burning, aching, or gnawing pain in upper abd. may be from ulcer. Some people also have back pain. The pain can last from a few minutes to a few hours and may come and go for weeks. I am not convinced the blood streaks are coming from PUD(Peptic ulcer). You will need Colonoscopy also.See GI
