Can just 1 pill 400 mg of ibuprofen taken one time only cause gastritis lasting for 2 months in sensitive person ? i had burning in stomach on and off for 2 months after consuming just 1 pill and always relieved instantly with zantac as needed.

No: You may already have gastritis or GERD, one pill of ibuprofen would just trigger it for one day not for two months, you can keep taking the zantac as needed, read the labels carefully and don't exceed recommended dosage and duration, till you see your doctor for a definitive diagnosis and treatment , good luck
