"Spotting" on bcp's: Spotting on today's low dose oral bcp's is common, especially if strict puntuality has not been observed. Take the "active" pills within the hour of having taken it the previous day, as a delay will cause "spotting". If this continues, stop the pack you are on, wait 5 days, and start a new pack, but maintain a punctual schedule to reduce/eliminate breakthrough bleeding.
