Define constipation?: The average breastfed baby can go a smear every feed or a diaper full once a week. If it is soft when they go it is not constipation. The best formula is the one baby thrives on. There are some differences depending on the babies individual needs. If the kid is pushing out rabbit pellets or harder stools, 1-3 oz of full strength prune juice 1-3X/d gets most moving within 3-4 days.
