My ferritin was 21 in april and now it went down to 9. iron is normal. is it normal to have low ferritin and normal iron? my dr doesn't seem concerned. he said to eat more foods with iron and no iron pills. i am worried about it going lower.

Test: If your iron is normal your hemoglobin is normal and you don't have signs of anemia I would not be worried about your ferritin.
