Hi there i have a 3 month old baby boy and he doesnt respond to sound well on the left side. is this normal or should i get him checked out?

It's reasonable: I find is hard to understand how you can localize it to one side, but if you think so fine. Any time you think a kid is not attending to sound you should have them checked. It is done routinely at birth in most birth centers in the US.
