Not abnormal: Referred pain from the inflammation and infection can cause your teeth and gums to hurt. Should pass when the throat infection clears up.

Wisdom tooth flap and surrounding gum around wisdom tooth is completely white; I got sick a week ago because of strep throat; now the gum around my wisdom teeth is white and sore + jaw gland is sore. it looks like a giant cancer sore, but im worried.
While I was sick with strep throat, gums grew from my buccal mucosa, and covered a part of my wisdom tooth. Most of it is now subsided. Wat was/is it?
