Possible infection: Your description of your injury makes it seem that it may be more than a superficial scratch. You could have an infection which could spread further without proper treatment. You may also have some tissue &/or bone damage. I therefore suggest a visit to an Urgent Care Center or Emergency Room for an immediate exam. The sooner you are properly evaluated & treated the better. I wish you well!
