Had a bug bite that keeps swelling and getting more red on ankle. it is pussing and extremely itchy. it almost looks like it is blistering. i went to the urgent care this morning and they gave me antibiotics but it is not getting better. help?

Patience: If this is an infection in need of antibiotics it would take days, not hours to see improvement. If it is infection on top of an allergic reaction to the bite, it would get worse for a while.This would be consistent with all the itching. Diphenhydramine (benedryl) might help as would a cold compress. If the situation has you spooked go back in.
