A member asked:

Hi. my us says i have subcrorionic hemorrhage 4.4x4.1x1.4 cm 12.6ml at mid corpus anterior wall. will this resolved? i have brown spotting for 2 weeks already. how long does it usually last?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Chorionic hemorrhage: Subchorionic hemorrhage may occur and resolve, but may be a result of injury secondary to separation of the placenta. Repeat U/S may be necessary to assess how much placenta is affected. Reduce physical activities accordingly including sexual activity, as placental separation may result in miscarriage.
